The Pathfinders Initiative runs free online sessions for secondary school students who are thinking carefully about their next steps — whether that is a competitive university application, a professional career, or the 11+ exam.
Each session is led by an expert with direct, first-hand knowledge of the path ahead — whether that is a practising professional, an academic, or a student who has recently navigated the exact applications and interviews your child is now preparing for. They share what actually makes a difference: the specific, honest insight that is hard to find anywhere else.
That is the core of what we offer: real answers to the questions that matter, from people who have genuinely been there.
Every student deserves to know what’s possible.
The difference between a student who reaches their dream university or career and one who doesn’t is rarely talent. It is almost always insight — knowing what the process actually looks like, what selectors are genuinely looking for, and what steps to take and when.
That insight has always existed. It just hasn’t always been equally available. Students with the right connections, the right school, or the right guidance have long had access to it. Pathfinders exists to change that — to make the kind of advice that actually moves the needle accessible to every ambitious student, regardless of background.

Sessions run throughout the year across a range of topics. Each one is built around a specific path and led by someone with direct, current knowledge of that route.

Every session is live, free, and held on Zoom. Students register in under two minutes, join on the day, and get to ask questions directly to the person leading the session.
